The only things I have in mind is Xhavann who uses more old fashioned words/speech, like "thou" and "ardent". It's a bit trickier than I thought.

Another is Zaki who shortens his sentences, like instead of saying "I can't see" he'll say "Can't see" or simply "Can't".

#WIPSnips Shallot takes the boys to the city of Nine Fires to buy supplies. This is from a description of the city and its people. This is the city Parsnips came from.
Because the palm of Starsine had long nights, any civilization nestled in her grip was either mostly comprised of species who embraced darkness or those who made their own light. Nine Fires was, in a way, both. Viemen were evolved from foxes and retained some of their nocturnal ways, but many were Light elementals with sparkles in their fur, particularly along their nine tails, leaving a trail of ephemeral glitter in their wake. Shallot had once imagined Parsnips as a Light elemental and wondered what it would have been like to have a husband who left a glittering trail. Would it be beautiful? Would it annoy her after a while? In a way, it might have been a blessing that he was instead an Ice elemental, born with breath that could freeze water into ice cubes. The city itself was bright, illuminated by the eponymous nine differently-colored flames in their magnificent braziers crowning the nine towers encircling the inner city. Each flame held significance in Viemen culture—each color represented one of the nine uses of fire in their cultural-religious philosophy—but off the top of her head, Shallot could not recall what they all meant. The Lime Flame, the one Parsnips had been apprenticed under, represented fire for use in cooking.
