"It’s the end of January, and I’m at my local gender clinic. It’s taken five or six voicemails – the first left mid-November – to get this appointment."

I found out that my access to gender-affirming care was much less secure than I had (naively) believed: www.genderbent.co.uk/will-writing...

Friend of mine is exploring gender presentation and is looking for LGBTQ+-friendly shops in Manchester which might stock femme clothes in a range of larger sizes. Does anyone have any recommendations please?

My friends were dying. It’s what we did.

630,000 people died of it last year.

The biggest con in contemporary politics is Gender-Conservatives calling trans women perverts and rapists while constantly, and I mean constantly innovating new ways to sexually harass us on a mass scale.

Today I learned that stalking a 17 year old girl, writing up a 400 page 'dossier' about her, falsely reporting her to the police and smashing her phone does not constitute 'harassment'.

One wonders what *would*.

While my "biological sex" – such as it is – might be more relevant in a medical setting, it can still be demeaning. The doctor whose hands were on my chest likely did not understand that my body is already male.

when I say journalism is dead and has been replaced by PR I'm not kidding you.

This is literally a sponsored article minus the BBC getting paid (as far as we know).
It’s perplexing that the BBC is currently under scrutiny for a supposed liberal bias in favour of trans rights.
Here, a spokesperson for an anti-trans group is quoted, the article says that trans inclusion would be illegal (it wouldn’t) and lists an anti-trans organisation for more info.

The government’s ban on puberty blockers undermines clinical expertise and targets trans youth with a policy that lacks evidence, consistency and fairness.

Cis people, how many times have you been asked to describe how you masturbate, and what you think about when you do, to access healthcare on the NHS?

If you're not trans, please take a couple of minutes to skim through the linked blog post.

It's an overview of (some of) the questions trans kids and their parents will have to through, just to participate in the NHS puberty blocker trial.

I won't make any further comment here.

Remember. We know these drugs are safe. There is no need to do any of this.
The “Pathways” trial is, IMO on more than one level, a thoroughly unethical piece of “research” to be carrying out on children, especially children who are part of a marginalised minority.

Also at the end of the 24 month study, after 12 or 24 months on blockers, the young people have to go back to MDT review panel at the end of the study and every year for renewed approval of continuation of blockers. There's a serious threat of withdrawal of blockers hanging over them for years.
puberty blockers for trans kids with no prospect of moving to HRT after is like dangling somebody over an active volcano and going "what don't you feel better already? you're not even falling yet!"

There has literally never been a universal basic income trial program that didn't deliver real and measurable results above and beyond any other form of social welfare, and every time another concludes with the same findings the powers that be go "interesting! Anyway," and pretend it wouldn't work.

The trans community’s trust in the NHS’ new puberty blocker trial is low and I can’t help but wonder whether they could have prevented that by involving ANY trans people in its design or operation, and maybe not involving several people who have attended conferences of anti-LGBTQ hate groups
