This is an eye opener
As someone who worked the flight deck of the USS Nimitz while deployed in the Persian Gulf, I have to admit, I find it disturbing (and I'm very suspicious) that two U.S. military fighter jets were recently lost from the aircraft carrier USS Harry S. Truman during its deployment in the Red Sea. 1/6

In the 20 years I've lived in New Orleans, we have had this shift, especially drastic after Air BnB decimated housing for actual people. Used to wait tables and share a 4br/3ba house with a yard for $1050 a month.
There was an old tweet that stuck with me: "If you can easily walk to the coffee shop but your barista has a one hour commute, you don't live in a walkable 15 minute city; you live in a theme park"
as someone who lives nextdoor to both supportive housing and public housing, i need people to understand that the best locations for both are going to be the central neighborhoods in a metropolitan area, where there is easy and reliable access to services and jobs.

CTV canceled a segment that fact checked claims and statements by the current political parties. CTV canceled this segment because PP's side were complaining because facts were making their candidate look bad. What about what the rest of us want? This is fascism and CTV bowed down to it.
