Immigration court arrests are likely going to continue this week, with dozens of people around the country each day who were doing exactly what the government asked being arrested and thrown in detention and stripped of their right to a hearing because ICE wants to juice the numbers.

One reason the Democrats are not inspiring much confidence as an “opposition party” is that their leader supports a fascist crackdown by his own political opponents because it aligns with his personal support for an apartheid foreign government.
Chuck Schumer is very clear that he and the Democratic Party are not going to come to the aid of higher education against Trump’s assault. He agrees with it. Quibbles on details but supports forcing universities to crack down harder against alleged antisemitism.

The new McCarthyism proceeds apace. To be clearer than the NYT headline: a Palestinian legal scholar was accused by a shady substack publication that uses AI of being a terrorist & Yale immediately suspended her with no investigation into veracity or due process of any kind. Fun times!!!

The level of antisemitism like actual antisemitism against Jews that people are willing to tolerate for the sake of Israel is truly extraordinary.

And I'm not even addressing the racism against Palestinians here.
Donald Trump: "Schumer is a Palestinian as far as I am concerned. He has become a Palestinian. He used to be Jewish. He is not Jewish anymore. He is a Palestinian."
