tbh I think it's important not to cede the notion that "all aaa game dev uses AI" as if there being a few workers who might be trying to use AI to half ass some work in secret, and a studio using genAI as an explicit policy for asset creation, are at all similar things to have happen lol

the only problem with young people today is that they never had to mentally negotiate the difference btwn a video game's box/booklet art and the sprites they would play as on the screen. i understood what Plato was talking about before i ever even heard of him thanks to DRAGON WARRIOR

My pitch for a new James Bond movie is also my pitch for a sequel to RRR: the queen sends James Bond (who can be alive during the Raj because he's a fucking fictional character and I can do whatever I want) to kill Bheem and Raju and they beat his ass in a fight scene that lasts 50 minutes
