started this at a zine meet up today - just a cover and a page so far, but i like what it's becoming!
a quarter letter sized sheet of paper with a marble bust of a person with hair just longer than their ears looking to the left. the background is multicolored bingo dots, pink and blue and purple and teal. one is a purple splatter, and words over it read "beneath the quick". another white quarter letter sheet, this time with a few green leaves on it (upper right & lower left), a strange geometric diagram connecting a circle and a half circle (lower right) and a map of a room (upper left). there are more bingo dots, and shapes are colored in green, pink, teal, and blue. there is a blackout poem that reads - "the lie rotates, not completely attached to the loop of fundamental explanation."

new ink! "the emptiness" from the card game urbion. when i asked the artist for permission to get it done she gave me an enthusiastic yes and was super excited to see a photo of it, really looking forward to seeing what she thinks!

Is there interest in a monthly small-form #TTRPG #zine? Like, old school 1 sheet of paper folded into 8 panels?

I usually like giving things away, but considering I'd design, print, and fold each one, what would be a reasonable price?

And where? Patreon?
Two folded black and white zines. One has a cat on it and reads "a cat, adrift" and the other reads "how are you advancing the revolution?" They are on a green cutting board alongside a bone folder, exact knife, straight edge, and red envelope.

If you want to make a smaller zine (< 1/2-sheet page size) but w/more page space than a minizine (1/8 sheet)—or just dislike not being able to get the minizine creases all perfect—1/4 size zines are another option. (HT @alienmelon.bsky.social wonderful Electric Zine Maker tool I learned this from!)
Screenshot of a comic tutorial for "assembling a quarter-letter folded zine (aka "hand pies", for Zine Bakery Homemade quarter-size zines)". Steps are: 1) Fold your paper so it's been creased in half both horizontally and vertically. 2) Fold the top half of the paper down over the bottom, such that just the back cover (left) and front cover (right) pages show. 3) Put 2 staples through the vertical center crease. 4) Use scissors to cut off the smallest possible strip of paper along the top (you're freeing those pages from being connected, while trying to lose as little of the zine design to the cut as possible). 5) Fold the back cover around to the back, so just the front cover shows.
