It's a matter of 'when' rather than 'if' that comparative judgement becomes the norm when assessing writing for the SATs and 11+ exams imho.
I don't know if it would work at GCSE too but I don't see why not.

Blue Prince is £16.50 on Steam right now. It's worth it.
It might take a while to get into. Give it about 4 hours. I would recommend stopping after you find Room 46 unless you absolutely love the lore and the fine details.

Finally got around to blocking the menswear guy. He was great when he was actually talking about clothes and their construction and how they work on bodies. Rather like that Larry the Cat account - they get big and start doing tedious pontificating.

As I've written a kajillion times before, I had a torrid time with behaviour in 2018-2019. In this time, my classroom was completely trashed, on average, once every two weeks.

The government keeps talking about 30 minutes a day free childcare, but I suspect many schools already offer 10-15 minutes just as part of their routine start

This is an interesting question to demonstrate but there is no point children working it out by adding fractions.
Unless I'm missing something, you go from 1/2 to 1/11 so a common denominator of 27,720.
Converting to decimals makes more sense but still doesn't seem like a great use of time.

I'm becoming really worried about our SENCOs.
I think their job is becoming systemically impossible.
They're being ground down by impossible workloads and now huge numbers of complaints, which makes it all but impossible for them to be strategic.
