Correct. If human rights for trans people is a "losing issue" then I guess we're fucking losing because it's not negotiable. Same goes for LGB people
Popular or not Dems cannot bend on the need for trans people to be treated with basic humanity and respect. If we give up that because the right made trans people unpopular, we give up everything. They’ll dice us group by group like a salami. We die on this hill or we die alone in a ditch

Anabel and I rewatch Buffy regularly, and the thing that always impresses me is how regardless of varying strength of budget, writing, other actors, etc, Sarah Michelle Gellar gives it her all in every single scene, every second she's onscreen. Funny, sincere, heroic. Cleans her plate.
