Iowa State Auditor, father, bowhunter, former prosecutor, pizza auditor. Running to be Iowa's next Governor.

Public servant, not a politician.
It's like Superman said - maybe kindness is punk rock.

Thanks Saeed, for inviting me to Punk Nite.

My message is simple: Iowans deserve a governor who is committed to listening to their problems & is willing to work with anyone to find solutions. www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/p...
Democrat Rob Sand has a message he thinks can win him Republican Iowa. Will it work?
Democrat Rob Sand finished 100 town halls. Now, one year out from Election Day, his gubernatorial campaign is entering its next chapter.

We should be bigger than Democrats vs. Republicans.

This campaign will never be about mud-slinging. It's about making sure Iowa families have a governor committed to their success every single day.

BOTH the boys beat me tonight! One by 1 hit remaining, one by 2 hits remaining. Good game. 🤝

If you think people you know in other states are doing better than you, it's because they are.

From tax breaks for major corporations to secret deals for insiders - It's time for a governor who'll focus on every day Iowan's needs - not the needs of those at the top.

My faith teaches me that our differences make us unique, & that makes Iowa stronger.

My buddy, Marshall, is a prime example of that. Can't wait to have him join me this weekend at the Liberty & Justice Dinner in Des Moines.

Not redder or bluer, but better and truer.

Protecting your tax dollars from waste, fraud, and abuse.

(Also, I can't talk or think about this investigation without hearing "Baxter" in Will Farrell's voice.)

State auditor investigation finds $90k of improper spending linked to former Baxter city employees
City of Baxter officials requested the auditor's office investigate because of "concerns regarding certain financial transactions processed by former employees."

It's about keeping rural hospitals & clinics open and accessible so that you can get the care you need.
November 6, 2025 at 11:15 PM
Restoring the state auditor's power protects your tax dollars & fights against corruption. For me - that's a no-brainer, no matter who Iowans send to that office.
November 6, 2025 at 8:35 PM
Using YOUR tax dollars to bail out intentional wrongdoings by government insiders is WRONG. And i'll never stand for it.
November 6, 2025 at 5:15 PM
I will work with anyone to do what's right for Iowa.

Because it's about public service - not politics.

Iowa will have one of the most competitive gubernatorial races in the country in 2026. Join us so we can make real change for Iowa families by electing a public servant as their governor. go.robsand.com/bsk

You should be able to look your elected officials in the eye and get an honest answer about their work. That's my approach now and it will be my approach if I'm governor.

Iowa is 1 of 2 states in the country with a shrinking economy - and that affects rural families like David’s the most. I’m running to change that trend.

PS: Happy early birthday to Andrew (pictured with his dad)

We have a chance to change the direction of politics in our state. Renew our focus on a stronger economy, clean up our water, and build a future our kids can be proud of. Help us do it? RobSand.com/volunteer

A nice day in Bellevue.

Small businesses like Jeremy's are the backbone of Iowa's smalltowns. As governor, I'll work to expand the state programs that support these businesses, cut the red tape that makes participating burdensome, and prioritize efficiency efforts so more money stays in the community.

Iowa's AEAs provide special needs students in rural communities across the state tools & support to learn & grow.

Like I said at today's AEA roundtable - as governor, I'll work to stabilize the program & get funding back where it can be most effective in these kid's lives.

After 10 years of one party control - Iowa is ready for change.
November 3, 2025 at 3:07 PM
After traveling the state for my 100 town hall tour, it’s clear our message of a better Iowa is resonating. A promising sign - but there’s still a lot of work to do.
November 3, 2025 at 2:06 AM
Not everyone needs a 4-year degree to do great work. So I dropped that requirement in the Auditor’s Office.

If you're willing & qualified to do the job, we want your help.
November 3, 2025 at 12:08 AM
When I tell you we're getting support from Iowans of every political stripe - Im not kidding. Iowans are fed up and ready for change.
