Sadly, I don't expect any repercussions for the non-sepatation of church and state. The founders didn't envision the US becoming a theocracy. It's one of the things they strongly opposed.

Joe Rigney may have said a few years ago, empathy is a sin, that the compassionate must not enter the "quicksand" with both feet, but didn't Jesus do that very thing by being wholly human and simultaneously wholly divine?
