“But where will it end?” was the handwringing question about Me Too. A question asked by people who didn’t want it to begin.

Incredible
I heard someone refer to the late Kim Jong Il as “Kim Jong the Second” and I’m afraid I’m going to be giggling about this all day long.

Take note of all these people turning out for protests in small towns in red states.

Remember them the next time you’re inclined to write an area off because “they voted for this.”

If there's an issue up for debate,

And one side physically holds the other hostage,

That's not a debate.

That's legislation by force.

The implications of this matter.
A lot.
Folks are asking re: charges being used to hold Rep. Collier hostage

But that's beside the point.
Like the "how much crime is there" question is beside the point

In both cases, IT SHOULDN'T BE HAPPENING.

There's no justification for holding a rep. hostage

Think about that statement for a moment

🎶I go outside to give treats to my hens
They don’t know what stagflation is
The only know that I keep them in treats
They don’t know about the economy🎶

I sing to myself as I trudge through the stifling humidity to give my chickens their second treat of the day amid this hellscape

As it has been for quite some time.
DC statehood is now an imperative. No more dicking around. Next Dem majority, get it done immediately.

I’m as tired of saying it as you are of hearing it, but this is unambiguously Nazi shit
The White House has ordered the US Dept. of Justice to prioritize denaturalization: voiding the citizenship of US citizens.

Who will it denaturalize? "Any" case that it "determines to be sufficiently important".

Point 10 leaves the criteria opaque and arbitrary.

This Supreme Court is not a judicial court, but a royal court.

They exist not to apply the laws of this nation fairly for all its citizens but rather to prop up the king and attend to his needs and his needs alone.
this court says that allowing EPA to regulate carbon emissions is a "major question" that demands congressional debate. but allowing the president to, with a flick of the wrist, end a straightforward constitutional right is something that must be allowed to stand?
