They have discovered a planet. It is a land lacking sadness -- but with dogs. Infrequently, a faint squawk is heard. Perhaps one day we will find joy there.

one thing i’m stuck on is this idea that “masculine” energy means license to act like a chud in public, as opposed to more traditional notions of public masculinity, such as those that put a premium on the performance of integrity, honesty, honor and generosity.

My milk frother also heats as it froths, and I've discovered that if I add in powdered chocolate, I can make a delightfully frothed hot chocolate in under a minute. This is dangerous knowledge for a man of my considerable appetites and wild, hedonistic disposition

A reminder to anyone trapped in an airport due to weather conditions right now:

You have a right to stay in a nearby picturesque village while the airline sorts out a rebooked flight for the 27th. They also have to provide a widowed lumberjack for you to fall in love with.

Know your rights.

I still find Venus' geology so bewildering.

Mountains, but no obvious tectonic plate structure?

I've heard before that the leading theory is that there's an occasional uproar of magma on the surface that works to "unify" the surface over and over... And I wonder if we'll ever witness such an event

Worth remembering that to cats we are Ents.

Vast, lumbering things with deathly slow reaction times. Mostly harmless, as long as you can avoid our ungainly lurching.

A mom just came in SO EXCITED to find a map store bc her son would LOVE it.
She tries to be coy. "My son is... Really into maps. Real special kid."

I'm like, ma'am, this is a map store. Half my customers are on the spectrum. I have a trains and transit section. You're among friends.
