i just wanted to make websites

i was using free hosting providers that had their WYSIWYG editors, which were quite limited but allowed HTML, so i learned HTML (to put content the editor couldn’t do), then CSS (to make things look alright), then JS (to bring logic), then PHP later on… old times…

i had done some exploratory work on PyPy and RPython, especially trying to tweak the runtime, and it’s all really fascinating

You can indeed build RPython with Python and it works!

even with a large server it took me 20+ minutes to build though… no multithreading… but nice Mandelbrot fractal!
