Feel we’re getting nowhere fast today - did the huge pile of washing up (btw @poisonousratbag.bsky.social Gloppy is a SPIDER, not a sink monster - I liberated him before I did the dishes) then made that frankly delicious curry and watched a bit more of that silly Danish series and the day has gone.

Realised that as usual I’ve timed my shop for minimum success in actually having any festive foods at Christmas - knowing my track record of discipline :-D But what the hell, we’ll give it a whirl anyway, will probably have to put in a supplementary order just before it all kicks off.

We should have accepted long ago that we’re on our own and the US in NATO isn’t a thing anymore. Preferably as soon as the orange baby took office last time, that would have given us more time to prepare.
They're still talking about Europeans somehow persuading Trump to a position of sanity on Ukraine. When someone repeatedly demonstrates who they are, maybe you should believe them. Humiliating.
