The Bulwark continues to do excellent work.
People have mocked the phrase Everything Trump Touches Dies, but it’s possible the arc is just a lot longer than people expected.
Two things:
1. This is possible, but things haven't gotten even close to as bad as they likely will, and the Epstein issue is also far from closed. Trump could drag the GOP into the dark ages.
2. Even a tie or a narrow red majority among white voters would be an extinction event for the GOP.

I doubt very much that the white vote will be majority Dem. I think this is people saying they’re mad in a poll, but many of them will still vote GOP. That said, this is definitely not a good sign for the GOP.

100% this. In y he recent conversation with Ezra Klein, John Ganz said the same thing. It’s a calculated attempt to lure in leftists upset at Israel into their coalition.
I cannot overemphasize that Marjorie Taylor Greene, Carlson, and Fuentes see a 2028 path to victory that involves building an isolationist populist coalition that traffics heavily in antisemitism and exploits existing negative sentiment against Israel.
