Actuarial tables are ruthlessly accurate.

Do not believe the bullshit being dumped out by anyone from this administration.

Trump and the Republican party and Republican voters WANT YOU TO DIE.

Going to repeat myself here. One of my old lady opinions is that every anti-vaxxer should be required to sit down and do 100-150 years of their personal genealogy, so they can see a couple generations worth of children's deaths due to preventative childhood diseases.

I know lawyering up and shutting up is scary. Believe me. I do.

But you CANNOT talk your way out of an arrest or detention.

You CAN talk your way into charges, arrest, or detention.

And you'd be amazed how often the response to lawyering up is just letting you go.

Lol i posted this a month ago and I was right. No more federal inspection of dairy but trying to remove red dye 40 from foods
Those people weren't talking about making sure that your food is free from e-coli. They just want red-dye 40 out of breakfast cereal. They don't care if you die from eating romaine. Shit, they WANT raw milk to be legal.
remember when some people were like "well I disagree with rfk jr on vaccines but at least he's going to make food safer"

It really is critical that people accept this. You don’t have to understand it, just accept it. The point is literally for kids and people to die. Now, is it foolish that they think THEY are the genetically superior? Sure. But eugenics is definitionally narcissistic and dumb.
RFK is a eugenics freak first and foremost and everything falls downstream from that. he *wants* excess deaths. he thinks that only the "fit" should survive.
These motherfuckers are going to kill children. I've been saying it for a year, but RFK Jr might as well be a serial murderer.

Watch: they'll start vaccine *bans* within a year.

Musk doesn't seem worried that he and Trump threaten social and economic collapse. On the contrary, it appears that's his goal.

Musk swims in a tech-fascist ideology that believes democracy should be replaced by billionaire dictators — like himself.

Let’s make sure they’re wrong, shall we?
So it goes without saying, but let's say it anyway: the concentration of attacks on trans people isn't because trans people are the only people fascists hate (although they absolutely do hate them). It's because they're the people they think non-fascists are least likely to defend.

Loyalty is not a one-way street. If someone is demanding your loyalty, but not offering theirs, you can ignore the mouth noises. It's meaningless.

A good government agency is nearly invisible. You have safe food, clean water, stable power etc and you never have to think about it. The best societies have boring bureaucracy notices in the paper and not much else.

Today's challenge: Every time you start spinning out in panic from reading the news or catching up on social media, put down the phone and spend 5 min. cleaning up/picking up/tidying/somehow improving your home environment.

And then notice how much of a difference your small effort can make.

What DOGE is doing doesn’t meaningfully reduce govt spending and it in no way improves efficiency. What it does is weaken America and strengthen our enemies. It is time to focus on why that is the goal of Musk and Trump. Why is damaging the US their primary goal?

Panic and despair without an outlet can be self-destructive. Interrupt the doom spiral:

-Do 1 self-indulgent thing that makes you feel happy or content.
-Do 1 thing to make your home environment more calm or comfortable.
-Do 1 thing to help your community and people in it.

Repeat as needed.
