So, I am watching The Railway Men on Netflix and they mention Sodium Thiosulphate as an antidote for Methyl Isocyanate. This brought back old memories.
I used Sodium Thiosulphate a lot as a fixer when I used to develop black and white negatives. Those were the days!!

This and "I'm a lefty, so I can't use a fountain pen" are two of the bigger myths about these writing instruments. I've worked on a lot of vintage pens and they do get shaped by pressure, but dropping it on the floor is the #1 reason a nib doesn't work well, in my experience.

I don’t buy brewed coffee/coffee drinks but when I buy (maybe once every 1-2 years), it feels like I am cheating.

My mom got a call from a fellow claiming to be from ICICI. The ruse was that "your PAN card has expired and your account will be locked" (PAN card in India do not have expiry dates). (1/2)

Wheel of Time S2E3 was intense. So glad this is a proper adaptation and not like Foundation or Rings of Power. It's nothing like the books but it's capturing the essence of the books. Love it!
