Honestly I think I’m increasingly sensitive about this because making broken NES kusuges more functional was something Rani Baker was doing a lot of before she died and I thought that was so cool and beautiful and admirable

Honestly I think I’m increasingly sensitive about this because making broken NES kusuges more functional was something Rani Baker was doing a lot of before she died and I thought that was so cool and beautiful and admirable
set up rpcs3 for the first time to play house of the dead 4, but the state of ps move emulation is dire
it’s a pain in the ass to even get running, and I gave up before figuring it out when I realized there was zero emulation of the waggle controls. I know this is low priority but damn

my most cargo cult belief is that like half the reason video games are Bad Now is because musicians have way less creative control and they don't get to do weird ass shit like this. samples have borderline been eliminated in general and it has been a disaster for gamer kind.
This was my white whale for a long time, but the sourced audio sample during Xenogears' "Blazing Knights" boss fight track was taken from Christian Brando's manslaughter trial in 1990!

finally beat Elemental Gearbolt and my gameshark code is PERFECT*
*two players is untested, and it probably doesn't work in the Japanese version which is important cause most prefer playing the Unworked hack to turn it down to the original difficulty. but I accomplished my ellagoals so it's perfect
