The average SNAP benefit per month is $177 a person.

The average ACA benefit per month is up to $550 a person.

People want us to hold the line for a reason. This is not a matter of appealing to a base. It’s about people’s lives.

And working people want leaders whose word means something to them.

Spent the weekend in the hospital after days of missed work thanks to mastitis... 10 lactation consultant visits for my first kid and enough pump parts to pump 6x a day when my first self weaned and now when told to pump and dump. Breastfeeding is an $$$ option and often not an option. Fund wic.
After breastfeeding three kids for a combined six years, I cannot overstate how much anyone who utters the statement “breastfeeding is free” is either astonishingly ignorant or willfully peddling an agendaed lie.
She’s not on Blue Sky but I’m going to attribute this and add: I went back to work at 4 weeks PP with my first baby. Breastfeeding was not going well and I had to stop. I simply couldn’t keep seeing LC’s and “triple feeding” which is what they recommended. For those who don’t know, triple feeding is

Incredible speech by Violet Affleck who warned about the ongoing dangers of COVID & Long Covid, & advocated for masks and clean air at the UN today!

Regardless of the disgraceful nonsense we will likely hear from this administration in the coming days on vaccine “recommendations,” Americas healthcare insurers issued a joint statement tonight saying coverage for Covid and flu shots will remain unchanged from prior years.

Speaks for itself.

I do not accept that my children have to live in fear. I do not accept that any child should ever be shot, at school or anywhere else.

Remember when COVID vaccines were first available? Remember how they saved lives and helped us move toward normalcy? Remember how relieved and grateful we were? Remember how amazing our healthcare workers were? Remember how science rescued us?

Cannot overstate the stress of having a tiny unvaccinated baby hoping vaccines still exist by the time she is old enough
The proposed recommendation to stop using the MMRV vaccine for young kids is the opening salvo in an attack on all childhood vaccines.

The result will be dead children.

RFK Jr. is absolutely poisonous. He has now caused Dr. Lakshmi Panagiotakopoulos, the person in charge of COVID19 vaccinations at the CDC, to resign.

She did so because RFK Jr. demanded that the experts in charge of vaccine guidance listen to him and not to the scientific evidence.
