I have a passport number, a driving licence number, an NHS number, a tax number, a National Insurance number, a council tax number, a Voter ID number. All have records associated with them. Just integrate it all into one system and move on. It's a ridiculous debate.

I am a relieved (and financially somewhat poorer) grandparent today, A, A, A*.
The A level results have led to the uni place but I think we can all agree the most important thing is i never have to go through this again what degree you get is on you pal.
Might go full boomer and demand extensive reform of the examination system because it no longer impacts me.

Let me get this straight. Starmer's claim is that, if Israel were temporarily to temper its genocide, it would be rewarded with refusal to recognise a Palestinian state, that only if genocide were to continue unabated, would Palestinian statehood be acknowledged?

So, I've had the super experience of NHS crisis care this last week. Our team have been, a nurse from Kerala, massive shout out for Chicku, a Nigerian brain doctor (Dr Osa), a Nepalese cleaner (Hey, above, beyond) and a Ukrainian caterer, Katya. So everyone can shut their faces about immigration.

Exactly this. Labour have crossed a line today. They have succumbed to some of the most potent lies in politics. They have left any shred of decency behind.
Let's be crystal clear: doing some good stuff doesn't give you a free pass to also do a whole bunch of bad stuff. And when the bad stuff is REALLY bad, no amount of good stuff can compensate.
