This. Also, a critical and significant part of therapy is LISTENING to the client, analyzing their responses within a therapeutic framework, and responding appropriately, i.e. in a way that does not actively HARM their clients' mental health and wellbeing, which "conversion therapy" is proven to do.
The state licensing board has to be able to discipline doctors for not adhering to the standard of care. We can’t have the situation where free speech extends to medical decision making or the quality of our healthcare is going to go to crap.

SSI continues through the end of December so that is not entirely accurate. SNAP loads in full for October but will have to start cutting food benefits after that. So, yes the most vulnerable will be hurt if this goes long.

It's not normal for a POTUS to fire a four-star. But when it happens, it typically involves request from SecDef, input from Chairman of JCS, likely coordination with Congressional committees, and a very serious cause (misconduct, loss of confidence in performance, etc).
