The whole "transition is a one-time Sex Change Procedure you get from a team of doctors" trope is a lot of things but most of all it's just vastly downplaying the self determination involved in transition

My body wasn't given to me by some doctor, I reshaped myself through forbidden alchemy.

The plan is to set up a system of mass involuntary institutionalization to lock up dissidents, people with disabilities, etc. We're seeing the ground work for a eugenics movement being put into action.

The Democrats had almost a year to devise a strategy to counter Proj. 2025 should it be enacted and they completely neglected to do so. That they're now on the back foot against it is a problem of their own making, and it isn't being a bad solider to tell them we expect better from them.

1. Breaking News: Donald Trump has signed an executive order targeting trans youth and teachers in schools who teach for them.

It goes after "social transition" and threatens arrests.

I will go through line by line, as I have the last 3 nights.

On day one Trump's EO said we were harmful to kids. On day two, it said we were dishonorable and disloyal. On day three, it said we were unAmerican.

Transgender people have been a part of this country for centuries.

We are not going anywhere.

Do not comply with these EOs, they are not law.

4. That all changed yesterday. President Trump, in justifying his transgender military ban, leaned on a new argument for why such an action restricting the rights of transgender people was necessary: that transgender people are lesser human beings, dishonorable liars, and worse.

transition has been mostly DIY and community-organized since forever. when you're ready, figure out what you can offer and what you need. talk in real life, use signal, get creative, don't get caught. they can't break us in a way that matters!!!! I love you.

Donald Trump has just released a national under 18 trans care ban executive order. I am working through specifically how it tries to do this, and will live tweet here section by section as I read through it.

They knew they were getting arrested just for being LGBTQ+.

Yet... they're still here, standing outside of the boarded up Stonewall Inn, smiling as the world was at a fever pitch of hatred against them.

I think about it a lot in moments like this.

I'm tired of the framing of trans suicides as an entirely internal struggle detached from the realities of a deeply hostile culture hell-bent on denying us care, dignity, and autonomy.

Every trans suicide is a social murder, because you cannot ignore a society actively trying to eradicate us.
