Before the cops in LA started escalating things for no reason it was funny how my main takeaway was how much people were looking out for each other in really helpful ways. I’ve never seen so many people with carts giving away free water, sunscreen, snacks, and masks to total strangers.

The news about Brian Wilson’s passing isn’t unexpected, but is still incredibly sad.

Despite being widely and correctly regarded as one of greatest musicians he was still, in my opinion, underrated. Hardly ever mentioned in the same breath as the Beatles though they revered him
