Saw the original clay models and design docs from Earthbound this week. I first played it almost 30 years ago as a kid and had no clue what I was doing, but kept coming back to it later and it ended up influencing my decision to get into gamedev. I feel incredibly lucky to have seen this stuff irl

I have now seen Angel's Egg. After 20 years of not knowing a thing about it- I still don't!

Everyone call Ogre stupid and it true! Ogre barely even media literate! Ogre finally finished watching Angel's Egg, but Ogre only can identify surface level themes like Biblical Allegory, Faith, and Rebirth and can't comprehend ideas like the "Destruction of the innocent" that make Mamoru Oshii's work a Modernist Classic! Ogre sso dumb, it make Ogre sad! At this rate Ogre will never understand Urusei Yatsura!

It's a shame how many great series are just made unavailable to legally purchase a physical copy of. The third party market is way too rife with people fleecing exorbitant prices for out of print titles. It shouldn't be this way, but the powers that be are overall the absolute worst.
