Exactly this. The plan is asking Zelenskyy and all Ukrainians to trust their lives and futures to the word of the man who invaded them and the word of the man who betrayed them.
Moreover, Zelenskyy knows deals w Trump & Putin are worthless - neither cares about past commitments unless they need to instrumentalise them. Europe needs to understand that its security as well as UA's is at stake, & increase all forms of pressure on RU. It can do a lot even without the US. 2/2

Let’s be clear: the verdict of the official Covid report is absolutely damning.

Just a tip from your old pal Richy, no matter how freezing your toes are because it's Baltic out and you've been in and out to the shed in only your slippers, you shouldn't walk into your fiancée and announce "I have cold feet".

What security concerns. Russia illegally invaded a sovereign nation, it occupied parts of a sovereign nation. Tankies scream NATO but conveniently ignore how Ukraine was not in NATO and not likely to be. There are no security concerns, just Russian imperialist aggression.
3/ Dmitriev says that the plan will "address the Ukraine conflict, but also how to restore US-Russia ties [and] address Russia's security concerns."

I'm not sure if others have noticed this, but interesting that one of the Prescott criticisms of the BBC is based on those of the 'History Reclaimed' group, which is also associated with the 'Restore Trust' group's attacks on & so far unsuccessful attempts to take control of the National Trust. 1/3

We need more reporting of local government. This is quite a thread...
Cllr Daniel Taylor, currently on bail pending trial over allegations that he threatened to kill his wife, has attended today. Given he missed every other meeting since his arrest, he would have been disqualified as a councillor had he not arrived today.

Perhaps the BBC could offer Trump one of his beloved deals: they'll apologise for broadcasting sections of his speech, if he apologises for trying to overthrow an election, lying about the result, pressuring election officials, urging a crowd to "fight like hell" & pardoning those who did just that.

Like why would the bbc need to ‘balance’ its cover of the US in this way?

When the BBC covers, say, Xi critically should it also run a programme dedicated to the CCP’s achievements?
