Edgar Wright's rendition of The Running Man is a delight. It's not perfect, it gets lost in places and can be a bit heavy handed with messaging, but it's visually stunning, witty, relevant, and really expands on the story. Always appreciate Wright's work, he has a real gift.

Back from a lovely, if unexpected, trip to Brighton for a few days. Did some fun touristy things, stayed in The Grand, and got to see some great friends and chill at Loading Bar.
Haven't been in many years but Brighton oozes the charm that I so vividly remember. A beautiful and welcoming place.

I want to go to the Persona orchestra next year but it does irritate me when they talk about celebrating 30 years of a franchise and once again ignore 1 & 2. Surely even people who haven't played them might enjoy the music, even a couple of tracks!

Isn't it just utterly refreshing seeing Zack in interview? Not dodging the question, but facing it head on. So important to see the reliance on lazy 'gotcha' remarks or statements that say nothing get called into clear focus through authenticity. It is wonderful but it also should be the norm.
