Check this out, #bugsky! According to a Costa Rican entomologist, this is a species of longhorn beetle, Polyrhaphis angustata. Not a common species, apparently. It was attracted to the light in my kitchen at @casabentbill.bsky.social

Well, this was a real treat this afternoon as I found this Periplacis menander #butterfly outside my kitchen window. A new species for @casabentbill.bsky.social (and for me). These have a wide range from Mexico to southern Brazil, but they aren't common.
