After shutting down government for 40 days, resulting in mass firings and benefit cuts to struggling families, Democrats chose to surrender to MAGA, having secured no protection for the healthcare subsidies which they were supposedly 'fighting' for. Predictable and pathetic.

The capitalists will do everything in their power to derail and demoralise the workers' program, aided by reactionary forces within the Democrat Party. The only way to protect the program is to expand it, to escalate the struggle against the billionaires and build an unstoppable mass movement.

In Libya, NATO turned one of the most developed countries in Africa into a failed state with open slave markets and sectarian killing. During the Cold War, NATO paid for Nazi terrorists to hunt down and kill communists across Europe. NATO has a single mission, and that is to protect US imperialism.

Just as Palestine helped distinguish the liberal 'left' from the Marxist, anti-imperialist left, so too will the drive to rearm across Europe. NATO is not the people's friend, and neither is the EU. Only international solidarity can break the chains of nationalism that pits workers against workers.

The answer to Russian imperialism is not American/European imperialism, but international worker's revolution. We do not have to pay the price at home just so we can have the privilege of dying abroad. If the rich are so keen on war, they can go man the frontlines themselves.

All over Europe, western governments are unleashing austerity on the working class to pay for their costly rearmament fantasies. As the drive to war escalates, it is imperative that socialists continue to speak up for internationalism, anti-imperialism and peace.

It has become impossible to keep up with the pace and scale of demonstrations, occupations and strikes currently paralysing the globe. Israel has attempted to wipe Palestine off the map, and has instead turned the whole world Palestinian. As long as the people live, Palestine will never be alone.

If the people crying over Charlie Kirk really wanted to end political violence, they would have to end the class system all together. What they really want however is for political violence against the ruling class to end, and for the capitalists to continue their violence uninterrupted.

Communists discourage individual acts of violence, not because we think it is a moral horror to hit back, but because we do not believe it to be strategically effective. Ultimately, demagogues like Charlie Kirk will always be replaceable and the capitalist class will continue its terror as before.

But for some reason, whenever a person responsible for the horrendous political violence against the working class faces retaliatory violence, all of a sudden "political violence" is denounced as some horrendous moral outrage.

When tens of thousands of Americans die from a lack of healthcare, their lives are taken by political violence. When homeless people freeze to death on the streets, their lives are taken by political violence. As long as class society exists, there will always be political violence.

The BBC's attempt to smother solidarity with Palestine has astronomically backfired. Other artists had crowds chanting 'death to the IDF' whilst people in the crowd livestreamed Kneecap's performance to millions. The ruling class is so out of touch they cannot see that they have already lost.
