Democrats decided to stick to the norms and welcome Trump to the White House and attend his inauguration. Those moves were a disaster and they gave some cover to the bs he has done since. Attending his state of the union would be another party failure of a similar ilk. This isn’t very hard.

Yeah the whole point is to do the fascism fast enough that midterms aren’t real.
Our primary goal should be protecting the integrity of elections at the state/local level.

What I think is going to happen is that the Democrats are gonna win in a landslide, and then Trump is going to claim some magic fraud and try and get their Republican challengers seated, and that’s where the fun begins - what if two competing claimants to the seat show up
i mean, trump can feel free to accept or not accept the results of a midterm but it is unclear that he can do a single thing about it

Ain't good. Compared to Senate Dems, House Dems have less leverage. One exception is the budget fight. But here's the Dem House Leader TODAY declining to use that leverage.
If you have a Dem rep, ask them to use their leverage. And tell them to tell Jeffries to lead.
