We already have the technology to slow (& ideally reverse) climate change. We don’t need to sit around with our fingers crossed waiting for the tech bros. We just NEED TO DO IT. Electrify everything. Build already-consented solar & wind renewable farms. Stop subsidising fossil fuel. No more coal.

There are 3 other major differences between Britain and Denmark.

Denmark is richer than Britain, is in the single market (and therefore has the freedom of movement) and also is part of Schengen

This does seem to be a relevant question. Reading the Sun and Guardina pieces side by side it is hard to believe they are describing the same policy. That kind of spin might have worked in 1990s but in a social media ecosystem where anger goes viral is is likely to generate own goals

I have never visited Albania (despite being just 1 mile from Corfu, Greece), but somehow I’m crying of joy seeing this country that has suffered so much finding its way to become an EU member.
