We lost at home to a much worse team and basically went to pieces after taking the lead. No excuses. Just be honest.
We avoid honesty ahead of a big game out of some sense of superstitiousness. And I get it. No one wants to “tempt fate.” But look at that United lineup. At some point we have to make a statement and today would be as good a time as any.

Just checking, are we allowed to be frustrated at this result?

I preferred it when we didn’t allow teams any shots.

Seen this City game a million times. Palace start well, miss some good chances, City don't create anything but it doesn't matter because Haaland scores with his fifth(?) touch.

Palace will keep pushing for an equaliser but then City will eventually score a second and that's it.

FT: Feel absolutely sick. Can't even try to break that down but what a terrible goal to concede so late. Getting out of there with a point (considering the circumstances) would have been fine but that's a total punch to the gut.

NC State's offensive line is not having a great night. Jacarrius Peak just got manhandled and CJ Bailey was thrown to the ground for Virginia Tech's fourth sack of the night.

It's gonna lead to a 3-and-out and Virginia Tech will get the ball back with 1:40 left in the first half with a 13-7 lead.

Is it just me (or my device), or does 5GUW kinda suck? I feel like it works well when you’re right near a tower or broadcast point, but it seems hit-or-miss with anything less than 3 bars of service.

Jakob Kiwior put in one of his best performances for Arsenal today. Both at LCB with numerous headed interceptions and a big passing range, but more so when he moved to RCB and had to take charge. He looked strong, decisive and brave, and his last man tackle showed that. Superb.

PSG's low xG shots went in and Arsenal's high xG's didn't and I think that explains where we are at.

That's a shocking challenge from Norgaard. Scissors technique, it's high - straight on the knee. Could easily be sent off for that.

It's clumsy defending from MLS (Kiwior doesn't help either) but that being a penalty is absurd. The contact starts from outside the area and Harrison fully dives.

He's just as culpable in the contact as Lewis-Skelly. Totally ridiculous.

Lewis-Skelly is being officiated by a reputation he totally doesn’t deserve. It’s so frustrating.
Darren England was VAR who refused to overturn Myles Lewis Skelly's red card against Wolves.

Finally seen a replay of the penalty incident.

So, so soft. If anything it looks like Harrison fouls Lewis-Skelly first and then just falls over once he gets into the box.

FT: Arsenal did more than enough to win that game. Hardly a vintage performance but played well enough considering the changes, and Everton created nothing apart from that nonsense penalty.

I'm so tired of watching these incompetent officials impacting games every week.
