Arteta on Havertz:

"The quality that he showed, the way he connected with the team, the goal that he scored. A really positive contribution."

On Havertz being replaced at half-time:

“That’s what we planned. He wanted to continue playing today, so I know what is coming tomorrow.”

Ife Ibrahim on for his Arsenal debut, replacing Norgaard.
January 28, 2026 at 9:48 PM
This time Jesus does score when clean through.

But the goal is ruled out for offside following a VAR check.

Still 3-1

Honestly, the chances Arsenal have missed in this game. It could have been a cricket score.

Jesus the latest to waste a good opportunity. Really wasteful night in front of goal for the home side.

Brando Bailey-Joseph and Gabriel Jesus about to come on for Arsenal.
January 28, 2026 at 9:34 PM
Back underway, Odegaard on for Havertz and Hincapie on for Calafiori.

You would imagine that 45 minutes was always the plan for those two. Really positive first start back for Havertz.

Half-time: 3-1 Arsenal

It's been a cruise so far, with Gyokeres, Havertz and Martinelli all on target.

The lead could have been far greater, plenty of missed chances, but it's been a fun night so far as Arsenal head towards eight wins from eight in the Champions League.

3-1

Martinelli, I think. After a long VAR check. Looks like he's nicked it off Gyokeres right on the line.
January 28, 2026 at 8:38 PM
Great feet from Madueke to dance into the box, but his shot is blocked. The crowd loved that.
January 28, 2026 at 8:28 PM
Brilliant move from Arsenal, but Gyokeres can't quite turn Lewis-Skelly's cross in on the stretch.
January 28, 2026 at 8:25 PM
Goal and an assist for Havertz inside 15 minutes.

Ben White with the ball down the line, Havertz races onto it, cuts inside a lashes a shot past the keeper (who looks like he dived past it).

2-1

1-1

Penalty to Kairat. Calafiori booked for a shirt pull in the box.
January 28, 2026 at 8:06 PM

Ethan Nwaneri in training with Marseille today after completing his loan move until the end of the season.
January 23, 2026 at 5:57 PM
At London Colney - Mikel Arteta’s press conference stating soon.

He should be a good mood - Both Calafiori and Hincapie have returned to full training ahead of Sunday’s game with United.

Fantastic performance and result. A pretty much perfect night, capped off by a brilliant Gyokeres goal to seal it.

Seven wins from seven in the Champions League. Top two secured with a game to spare. So impressive.
January 20, 2026 at 9:54 PM
Decent half. Great for Jesus, Saka very bright and Mosquera has been impressive on his return. Inter a threat though, big spaces in the midfield that they are exploiting. Fun half to watch.
