This applies to most creative subjects. You create the things that you are driven to create, be it art, literature, music or any other of the creative arts. If you are lucky you might find that something is succesful and consider leaning towards that. Or maybe not. But you should enjoy the creation
Unsolicited writing advice, no. 1836:
Don't write the book you think 'people will buy'. No one knows for sure what people will buy, incuding the people who sell books. Instead, write the book you need to write. The book that makes a difference.

You should lose your licence after 6 points, rather than the current 12. You should also have to take your test again to get it back after the ban ends. We've got too many shit drivers on the roads, this might go some way to getting rid of them.

A staycation is spending your holiday in your own home and visiting places. A vacation is staying away from home even if it is in the same country. I will die on this hill.

nothing chatgpt has done is as impressive as akinator, the mind-reading internet genie from 2007
Akinator, the mind reading genie
Akinator can read your mind and tell you what character you are thinking of, as if by magic. Think of a real or fictional character, answer few questions, and Akinator will try to guess who it is. Wil...

If someone invented a miracle pill that reduced your risk of cancer, heart disease and strokes as well as boosting mood, memory, and lifespan it would be the most popular drug ever. Except we already have it and it's called exercise, and most people can't be arsed doing it.

Art and content shouldn't be created for popularity, clicks, or clout. It should be made because you either enjoy making it, or need to make it. I see so many people complaining their stuff isn't popular so they are going to stop. Completely wrong outlook and reasoning.

Never refuse your children a bedtime story, even if you're shattered.
One night, it will be the last time you read one to them and you won't even realise it.

Everything bad is down to the pursuit of growth. Our wrecked environment. Stress increasing on you each year as an employee. Billionaires funding fascism to divide countries so right wing parties can gain power and cut taxes. It's all companies trying to hit targets.

ECHR offers protection against unfair dismissal from work, protects pension rights, maternity leave rights and protects women getting divorced. People who think it's a good idea to leave should be ridiculed like flat-earthers. The ignorance is astounding.

Just checking….Are we absolutely certain that the British patriots are the people who hate British cities, British law, British judges , British democracy, the British civil service, the British Broadcasting Corporation, and large swathes of the British people?

People seem to be recommending Wormhole.app
as an alternative to WeTransfer. It handles bigger files and - unlike WeTransfer and Dropbox - it’s fully encrypted, meaning they don’t have access to your data at any point.
Wormhole - Simple, private file sharing
Wormhole lets you share files with end-to-end encryption and a link that automatically expires.

Post gig (Queen's Hall, Widnes, 1990) I went backstage to get my vinyl albums signed by the Fields Of The Nephilim. They signed then offered me a, emm, "herbal" cigarette. I declined.
Right folks. Feeling rather down at the moment so bringing back an oldie
