As soon as I saw Khashoggi’s name in those emails - TWICE - I knew something was wrong.

Reminder that Khashoggi was a US resident and Trump’s DNI FAILED to warn him of the threats to his life. And, Trump’s administration protected the Saudis from US investigation
Trump suggests Khashoggi had it coming: "You're mentioning someone that was extremely controversial. A lot of people didn't like that gentleman that you're talking about. Whether you like him or didn't like him, things happen. But he knew nothing about it. You don't have to embarrass our guest."

*Berated reporter for asking about the type of cover-up that fueled Trump's conspiratorial attack on govt.
*Refused to condemn MBS for role in murdering a journalist, suggested journalist had it coming, berated reporter for asking abt it.
He is more committed to MBS than the free press.
Q: Why wait for Congress to release the Epstein files? Why not just do it now?

TRUMP: It's not the question that I mind. It's your attitude. I think you're a terrible reporter. It's the way you ask these questions. You start off with a man who's highly respected asking him an insubordinate question

From @propublica.org: stories of the Venezuelans, none of them criminals, who were picked in a made-for-TV raid on an apartment building in Chicago that used blackhawk helicopters and military tactics
1/ The night of the raid, Jonahyker López awoke to the sound of a helicopter over his building and federal agents yelling, “Open the door!” López told me he sat on the edge of his bed, wishing that his own door would become invisible. But the door came down and agents burst in. 🧵

For ACA enrollees with incomes above 400% of the poverty level -- who would lose subsidy eligibility entirely if enhanced credits expire -- effects vary by age and zip code. A 60 year old in Baltimore making $63,000 has an increase of $5,207. In Charleston, WV, it's $22,509.
