So when folks talk about “oh high tax rates are a disincentive to earn more.” IMO, nah. It’s the massive jump in marginal tax rates (10%! - see below from the IRS link above), which……are on the folks who can’t just stop working despite the hefty marginal tax increase on their additional income.
