Is it too much to ask for the results after I click the “in store” button to actually only be the things that are in the store? Because it sure seems like it is. 😠

The surrender caucus secured yes votes from Democrats who aren't facing re-election this cycle, but four of them have Democratic governors who can pick their replacement.

If you live in Illinois, Pennsylvania, Maine or Virginia this is an easy and effective way to make your anger clear.
Yup, and the damage isn’t so much in the story as in the proof of weakness. Trump now knows he has new torture tools to make Dems do what he wants. It’s why at least one of the 7 capitulators oughta be run out of office now, mid session. Get that number down to 6. www.offmessage.net/p/16-thought...

I don’t know how many @senatedemocrats.bsky.social are here, but as someone with Trump-locked senators and who has depended on an ACA marketplace plan and who was deeply heartened by Tuesday’s results, I implore you: do not cave for a “promise” of a vote! Hold the line that you know is right!

Okay. So I really hate it when I yap on and on to answer a student’s question, and then as soon as they all leave, I think of a concise, thorough response that was a better answer all around than my eight minutes of yapping ever hoped to be.

Ok, I've got the 3rd best whiskey in the house & my thoughts for tonight are
1. Remember Obama's campaign slogan was "Yes, we can." I never forgot, but it seems like a lot of Dems did.
2. We all know that if you compromise on trans rights, you'll compromise on our rights.
3. Save what you love

Really important advice.

And if you insist on posting these things or keeping them up after you've been informed they're fake, that's going to be a quick block.

"Well, it could be true!" It's not.

"Well, you can imagine." Nope.

"Well, they do it!" Yeah, no.
Look folks gen AI videos are out in the wild so if you weren't already being careful about sharing rage bait videos then now is a great time to start

If you can't trace a video back to a trusted source then I recommend leaving it where it is, like a slice of bologna you found on the street

PC gamers are right up there with CrossFit folks and vegans. For the record, the answer to every minor criticism of something console-related is not actually “just get a pc and then you can [insert thing.]” It really, really isn’t. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

So seldom is there a story about Musk that bothers to mention the fact that DOGE is an fake agency, it has no legitimate claim to power, and thus it has no real head, every act it undertakes is automatically illegal and corrupt, and all of its "employees" are criminals.

This is getting fewer headlines than it should. After coming to power promising to help working people, the president is revealing his real priorities by actively making it easier for banks to rip people off.

@schumer.senate.gov Okay but seriously. This is not a lesser-of-two-evils situation, sir. Your sole weapon is the filibuster. Use it. Make Trump and his feckless stooges own their terrible CR. Have a freaking spine. Stand up for the American people, esp those of us with terrible senators. Do right!

Dear Congressional Democrats & specifically @schumer.senate.gov : you need to absolutely hold the line on the CR. Not a single “yes” vote; not a single compromise. Put the spotlight where it belongs—on the GOP’s cowering to Trump & Musk. Force them to face the music of their own debacle. Stand up!

Every single headline that discusses Trump trying to eliminate things illegally with EO’s that doesn’t include that illegality in said headline is a failure of journalism to the truth.

Apparently a lot of people need to hear this, but: Elon Musk doesn’t actually have any power or authority. You don’t have to let him in the building. You don’t have to do anything he says. If he says, “well we’re going to [insert terrible, idiotic idea],” you can just say, “no, we’re not.”
