From street marches to court battles to the ballot box - we’ve challenged the power of this exceptionally unpopular president.
The lesson from each success we've had is that we need to ramp the political pressure up, always up, not back down, now more than ever.

It’s the same old same old. Republicans do a tantrum and break the dishes. The Democrats clean it up. It’s an abusive relationship.

Bullies gain power when their misconduct succeeds in causing righteous people to yield in the face of wrongdoing. That’s why voting for Trump's continuing resolution - without any protection against his health care cuts or his growing illegality - is a mistake.
I voted NO.

The coordinated nature of this—none are facing voters in 2026—means that either Schumer approved it or failed in his job as Senate Majority Leader to stop it.
Dems voting "no" get zero credit until they demand a change in leadership. Schumer out as Leader, Durbin out as Whip.

Screen shots are fun because this one looks like this guy is dancing a jig while Caleb Williams is scoring the game-winning TD.

When prices rise because *demand* is hot, wages usually follow. When prices rise because tariffs raise costs -- a *supply* shock -- there’s no reason paychecks catch up. That’s why tariff inflation hurts a whole heckuva lot more. It's a permanent reduction in living standards.

We're extremely dishonest about the realities of aging in this country. The older I get, the more this becomes apparent to me.

Regular reminder that Axios stories saying Dems are about to cave are likely sourced from GOP staffers trying to make it happen.
Doesn't mean it definitely won't happen. But it's like those NYT stories that Harvard is considering caving (they haven't). The anonymous source was trying to manifest it.

The New York Times is going to write “Dems in Disarray“ no matter how many elections Democrats win.
To be fair, though, there *are* ideological differences among Dems, which is healthy in a democracy. Meanwhile, Republicans are in virtual lockstep because they have only 2 goals: money and power.

These idiots are going to shoot people again and again.
Video on social media shows an immigration agent pulling a gun in Little Village and holding it to the side — which is not an appropriate or safe way to hold a gun. (Among other issues.)

What’s the charge and why?
Chicago PD arrested several individuals on behalf of ICE after conducting a raid on an entire city block in the Little Village neighborhood. During the arrest, one of the detained neighbors was visibly choked by CPD officers and repeatedly informed them that he was unable to breathe
