Only about 3 or 4 years ago, a deathly silent sitka plantation was clear felled here. Now it's thick with wild native trees, NONE of which was planted. It's already heaving with insects + birds, and will keep getting better if left alone.

Only about 3 or 4 years ago, a deathly silent sitka plantation was clear felled here. Now it's thick with wild native trees, NONE of which was planted. It's already heaving with insects + birds, and will keep getting better if left alone.

We’re now into the fourth week of the election campaign and Dutton still hasn’t visited one of the communities that will have a nuclear reactor under his scheme.

The final question goes to whether the Coalition is planning to cut parent visas.
Reporter Sara Tomevska asks Dutton three times if he’ll cut visas for migrant parents.
Twice Dutton says generally the Coalition will cut migration, and that migration is a “significant contributor to young Australians [being] locked out of housing”.
On the third attempt, Dutton says:
In relation to parents, I’ve been clear about this, it’s an important part of the migration program. And we’re not going to reduce those. We’ve been clear in relation to it. And I believe very strongly we’ve got the best migration program in the world, but only if it’s well managed.

I'm a climate change refugee. Couldn't afford to live in our lovely home town of 16 years any more. Have ptsd and stuff now. It's not fun.More will suffer, more are suffering. Don't vote Libs, they don't care.
LNP run hard on power bill increases but not on insurance premium increases. The rapid increase in cost of their climate denial in lives and property damage from extreme weather events is ignored. Their solution to protect and expand coal and gas= more storms= higher premiums. #auspol
