aged 11 on holiday in spain, cocky and armed with basic spanish, I dared my friend to call some lads “¡estupido!” .. not happy, they chased us, shooting their BB guns. we sought shelter inside the apartment building reception area and I ran into a marble coffee table and broke my toe.

i’ve now filled two full sketchbooks without sharing any of the artwork inside them which, for someone trying to become an independent artist, is perhaps not ideal!! but it feels.. good? hate how social media for artists is so joyless at the moment (and in general obvs)
