Today in Milan, a student activist group hung a trash-filled effigy of Musk upside down on a gate outside of piazzale Loreto, where Mussolini's body was displayed in 1945.

Health care workers already experience the highest rates of workplace violence in America. Nurses are in the trenches as people struggle in life and death situations, but the insurance execs are far away, shielded from the pain they cause. Well, normally they’re shielded.
I don't think I've heard a single healthcare professional worried about if this killing means they are more at risk. I think almost universally we can understand that the nurses and doctors treating and tending to us have little to no say over anything to do with medical insurance and hate them too.

the answer to "why don't americans have..." and it's something so simple like national healthcare or feeding kids at school the answer is "bc Black people would also have it"
This is why America didn't get national health care back in the days of the Truman Administration, 1945-1953: white racists didn't want black Americans to get it.
After years of talking to Trump supporters my view of them has become very simple: They want socialist, even sometimes progressive reforms but they want them from someone who makes those reforms feel powerful and masculine and they want to make sure the people they don't like don't benefit from them

Just found out my insurance will most likely not help with any of my ffs. Funny enough they'd help with a boob job but ffs (the biggest source of dysphoria for a lot of trans women) is cosmetic apparently.
