That was certainly a rousing match of a game of foot I watched.

How Michigan wins after 5 turnovers is a mystery for the ages.

I don’t understand how Michigan could be playing Northwestern in downtown Chicago considering, according to El Dictator and his shameless droogs, it’s a bombed out hellhole.

Or is that only on Fox News vs Fox Sports?

First opinion - I need to go to Scotland!

I laid hands on Jean Bóttero’s Religion in Ancient Mesopotamia and the best summary of how he describes Akkadian relationship with their Gods from a variety of original sources is “pants shitting existential terror.”

So your hot plan is to stop sending money to insurance companies and send money to people to send to insurance companies.

That’s not how this works. That’s not how any of this works. I….. you know what? Never mind.
Hey kids the Trump Healthcare
Plan just dropped!

Someone at a knitting shop in the Shetland Islands is pissed off about _skeeting slander_ and this will! Not! Stand!

Also, how do I get this? Game of Wool? The best!

All hail NYC’s hottest new mayor.

This is an obscure but super interesting election. People are clearly not happy with prices in general or AI data centers hiking their energy bills in particular.

So much for the next great tech.

I know I’m extremely late to the party, but I enormously enjoyed @tkingfisher.com’s Nettle & Bone. Just a terrific read about human characters who happen to be Princesses and Witches on a crazy road trip to kill a dude who has it coming. 5 stars from me, will read again.

Let a crown be placed thereon, by which the world may know, that so far as we approve of monarcy, that in America the law is King. For as in absolute governments the King is law, so in free countries the law ought to be King; and there ought to be no other.

My bookshelf with about 1/2 my Revolutionary War book collection and a bunch of art books for no good reason today.

I may have indeed read most of these books. (But not the period encyclopedias that’s just weird.)

all discourse aside, there is one machine with consciousness. it's printers. they are alive and conscious and they hate you and they'd take your arm clean off if you let them. never trust a printer.

I made the horrible mistake of buying Hades II off the Nintendo Store and downloading it to my Switch, and now all I want to do is play Hades II on my Switch 2.

I have always enjoyed a roguelike, and Hades II may be the most perfect expression of the genre.

I finished RF Kuang’s Katabasis and, I have to admit, I kept casting GBBO’s Paul Hollywood as Prof Jacob Grimes.

“Your pentagram didn’t rise properly and it’s gone all claggy. And your lettering has no flavor. This won’t do.”

Am I GBBO pilled? Maybe!
