This article should be read with caution as it posits, without further exploration, that antidepressants have direct causation.

“However, the exposure time to antidepressants might also serve as a marker for more severe underlying illness,” he said.

Love this reframing by Merriam-Webster. We’ll be using this moving forward.
“I’ll be 10 min late sorry!!!”

-ashamed
-fragile
-unreliable

“A thousand apologies. The relentless slog of time has overtaken my faculties.”

-powerful
-commanding
-honest

Hey friends. If you’ve had anxiety and depression your whole life and also struggle with motion sickness/dizziness, get your eyes checked by a specialist.

I woke up without anxiety for the first time I can remember. Binocular dysfunction can fuck you up. Glasses can change your life.

It's disgusting that David Geier, with a history of falsified data and retracted studies on vaccine-autism links, is leading the HHS study on the so-called link between vaccines and autism. This decision undermines trust in science and jeopardizes public health efforts. It's sham science. Shameful.

The authors examined racial + ethnic disparities in youth mental health treatment in the United States from 2002 to 2019. White youths received more treatment than Black or Hispanic youths. Socioeconomic factors only partly explained these disparities. bit.ly/4c2JPMb

NEWSWORTHY: Even after the disavowing the “supposed” link between vaccines and Autism, US government agencies are now dedicating money (probably recently reallocated from other less desirable studies) to investigate if there’s a connection.
Exclusive: US CDC plans study into vaccines and autism, sources say
It is unclear whether Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr, who has long promoted anti-vaccine views, is involved in the planned study or how it would be carried out.

As someone who is neurodivergent and has PTSD, I’d like to remind folks that not every disability is visible. I’m super lucky that I’ve received great medical treatment. Not everyone does. Also: NOTHING TO BE ASHAMED ABOUT.
Disability is not a moral failing. It’s not a punishment.

It’s simply part of being human. If you live long enough, you will likely experience some kind of disability. It’s one of the only minority groups you can join at any time.

Stop treating us as less than & help us combat ableism!
