This should be a federal program. Moreover, no company should be allowed to make sale of your data a precondition for their services. There should be a standalone opt in/out. You are a human, not a data point.

I’ve seen stats saying the US pays $4.5T annually for healthcare. I’d like to know what that’s actually buying. Profits for HMOs, Insurance companies, medical billing services, big pharma? The pharmaceutical companies are necessary, but their profits aren’t. The others are completely unneeded.
