Incredible interview
"I have a colleague...his fingers were crushed... They showed him a picture of his wife & said 'we're going to gang rape her in front of you if you don't admit you're Hamas.'"

Dr Mark Perlmutter, in Gaza, on what Israel is doing to Palestinian doctors.

If anyone recognizes the secret police in this video (even with their masks) please let me know via email or Signal.

I'd like to file FOIA requests and it's helpful to identify people so you can instruct a federal agency where they should look for records. (John Smith's email account, etc)
Video of the international student at Tufts being arrested by "federal authorities" in Massachusetts has been released and it's terrifying.

They're not even uniformed officers. Just secret police thugs in hoodies and masks.

You want us to believe you voted for the unlawful Trump/Musk impoundment and agency destruction because you see yourself as above politics, the thing you were elected to do?

BTW, you are outright lying about no cuts for veterans. This is what you just endorsed.

Doing this right before firing three top military leaders is so deranged. Source at DoD told me, “Disdain for Hegseth is a near-universal feeling even among the Trumpiest in the office.“
New — All Department of Defense agencies were sent a video of an agitated Pete Hegseth debunking supposedly fake media stories. Today at least one agency called an “emergency” town hall and forced employees to watch the propaganda.

Beyond threat--they are being damaged every damn day now.
Three things that make the U.S. the envy of the world:

1) Professionalized military with strong norm of civilian control

2) Higher education and cutting-edge scientific research

3) Ability to welcome immigrants and attract the “best and the brightest”

All three are under threat.

I fear that this is just a prelude to further purges, the installation of yes men (pun intended), and the introduction of loyalty oaths. These are the steps that destroy professionalism and make the use of violence to restore "domestic order" thinkable --- and more likely.
