Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No, it’s alt text on Superman! 🦸‍♂️

With the new Superman movie flying into cinemas this week, don’t let adding alt text be your kryptonite! Remember to add it to your posts - it makes your content soar because it's accessible to everyone. Just like we’ve done here.

You’re admiring Jonathan Bailey’s slutty little glasses when you remember you haven’t had an eye test for at least two years. Suddenly, the sexiest thing you can do is call your optician and book one in.

Your picture might say a thousand words, but your alt text doesn’t have to to include blind and partially sighted people 🤯

It's really easy, simply click ‘Alt’ on the image and type your description before hitting ‘post’.

Kind of amazing how nakedly dishonest are Wes Streeting's lot when it comes to suppressing data on young people taking their own lives in consequence of the withdrawal of gender affirming care. 🤯🧵

What do we want?
To walk ten metres without bumping into a Lime Bike, stray wheelie bin, or cafe A-board in the middle of the pavement.

When do we want it?
Whenever you’ve got a sec to pop out and move them.

What is a vagina? Finally, you sigh with relief, the Vagina Museum is out there answering a *simple* question.

We regret to inform you it's not that simple. It's actually fairly complicated, and here's why...

Labour's new policy - of humiliating trans people by requiring them constantly to self-identify - we believe puts the UK (again) in breach of its obligations under the European Convention on Human Rights and will seek a declaration of incompatability. goodlaw.social/0r6l

Nobody considers trans men (fortunately for them, they're well out of this hatred) and nobody will address the elephant in the room: that this is an "issue" only because some very vocal people find trans people disgusting and want to treat them as gay people and black people were for so long.
This moment when the penny drops that trying to implement bathroom bans is an impossibility for the former Tory Chief Secretary Simon Clarke is delicious.

‘Transgender’ people have been with us for over 100 years, and what we would recognise as trans identities are found in our archives - in the UK alone - reaching as far back as the medieval era.

Pal taught our friendship group a new word: Vorfreude.

It’s German for anticipatory joy.

How lovely is that? I’m full to the brim with it because I’m seeing said pals all weekend.
