My husband @captmarkkelly.bsky.social is a 25-year Navy combat pilot veteran. He served our country with strength, courage, and integrity.

The President called him a traitor and demanded he be executed. It is dangerous and wrong. Americans need to stand up and say so.
I've had a missile blow up next to my airplane, been shot at dozens of times by anti-aircraft fire, and launched into orbit — all for my country. I never thought I'd see a President call for my execution.

Trump doesn’t understand the Constitution, and we're all less safe for it.

Alabama’s political pipeline has turned into a locker room.

Tommy Tuberville’s running for governor, his buddy for lieutenant governor. Both Republicans, one doesn’t even live in the state and the other’s never voted in his life. Yet they expect Alabama to hand them the ball. 🥴

No Republicans should ever be permitted to live down Trump. It should be a generational shame that haunts their descendants.

The idea that we should move on from this open criminal who waged war against his own country and global democracy *while he is still waging it* is quantum complicity.
Lead front-page story in today's NYT

Time-travel dept:

-I don't remember front-page NYT stories "It's 1993, and GOP Is Still Running Against Clinton." That's what they did, for huge mid-term win.

-Nor "It's 2009, and GOP Is Still Running Against Obama." Which they did, for huge win.

Weird.

It should be very disturbing to everyone in America

And every lawyer in particular

That Pam Bondi-the top law enforcement officer in the US

Won’t commit to following court orders

Every state Attorney General should flag this testimony for use in future lawsuits against the Trump administration
PADILLA: Do you believe govt officials are obligated to follow court orders whether they agree with them or not, yes or no?

BONDI: I wish you loved your state of California as much as you hate President Trump

PADILLA: I asked a simple yes or no question

We were wrong. Dead wrong."
Washington Post dismantled the platform Jamal wrote on. Discarded the fellowship they created in his memory.

They fired me unjustly for speaking the truth.

But I’ll never stop talking about my friend, writer, and amazing human, Jamal Khashoggi.

RIP, Jamal.

The “invisible Nazis” that people on Twitter have been talking about since 2015 are the Groypers. They use seemingly innocent phrases to disguise their messages and discredit all criticism (dogwhistles), so to most people you would look crazy for calling them Nazis.
