I bought this laptop second hand in 2020. B-grade stock, destined for the bin as it was unfashionably small and a little underpowered.
I’ve converted it to Linux Mint XFCE as Win11 was strangling it only to find it absolutely flies once more.

It’s been very noticeable since I got a beer52 subscription that I don’t like the mix of beers I thought I did. Wheat Beer still leads by a mile but under that rather than IPAs is a load of Porters, Stouts, and Sours.
I’m enjoying the variety but starting to loathe IPA with Grapefruit hints.

2025 budget’s kind of a big whatever. I lose out on a lot of Salary Sacrifice in a few years, tax thresholds frozen again… feels depressingly like continuity to me.

Played Ra at club this evening. As auction games go it’s one of the best, and the Pharaoh edition is superbly tactile.
It does a lot to reduce AP too, like only ever giving you 3 values to bid with, single round auctions, and hiding VP.
