John Deere. I mean. . .
💥 BREAKING: At John Deere's annual shareholders meeting today, shareholders overwhelmingly rejected an anti-DEI proposal brought by the same group that targeted Costco and Apple. An anti-DEI proposal from the NCPPR received less than 1 percent of votes.

I think it's cute you think they knew what books I was reading. #flowersintheattic
When you were a teen, did your parents approve of the books you were reading?

It is no accident that women and people of color are seated behind him.
This is third person to scream and be taken out of Hegseth hearing in his opening statement, the people are not having it.

I hope at least one Senator asks Pete Hegseth why he left 'women' out of the title of his book:

Oh, boy.
I keep seeing references to an Adrian Dittman. Is there one thing I can read to get me up to speed on how people have determined who they think he is? Asking for … me.

I almost posted the same thought! Love '(p)resident.' LOL
The Repubs will fall in line on the vote for speaker. They’ll do what it takes to retain power, even if they can’t stand Speaker Mike Johnson. There’s zero way they’d allow any threat to Dump becoming (p)resident of the White House on Jan. 20. Let me know if you disagree!

Inside President-elect Donald Trump’s orbit at Mar-a-Lago, there’s a bit of a parlor game going on. Just who, they wonder, will vote against Speaker Mike Johnson when the House kicks off the 119th…

We gotta reject “Well, RFK jr. is right about some things” and accept “if we don’t confront the real problems with our systems, it becomes much easier for con artists like this guy to manipulate people.”

My very niche New Year's resolution - if someone tells me that Democrats need to stop being the party of elites and corporatists and billionaires, I'm gonna demand specifics. If they say George Soros or stock trading, I'm gonna stamp on their toes.

I don't think Speaker Johnson is actually at risk of losing support. Whatever the source, it all seems a calculated set-up so that when he is re-elected Republicans can point fingers and say "See? The media doesn't know anything."

Also what’s all this talk I’ve been hearing about “gay apparel” and what are Mike Johnson and Nancy Mace gonna do about it, especially now that we get to say “Merry Christmas” again?

They protested in the streets so they could elect HIM?!?
Georgia’s governing lawmakers handed the presidency to a former soccer star turned far-right politician on Saturday, setting up a standoff with the sitting president and deepening the country’s political turmoil after weeks of protests and a disputed parliamentary election.

What I got from McConnell's statement was, "If you wanna get confirmed, shut up about vaccines." He didn't say he wouldn't support an anti-vaxxer. He just won't support someone who TALKS about being an anti-vaxxer. McConnell assumes once RFK Jr is confirmed, he'll fall in line.
Mitch McConnell helps create villains and then tries to gaslight us into thinking he’s fighting the villains. 🤦🏻‍♀️

When I think of the non-voters out there, this line from Rush's song Freewill comes to mind: "And if you choose not to decide, you have still made a choice." Choosing not to vote is still voting. They just gave the power of that vote to someone else.

I was just in Wilder Hall and yes, the students are pretty fired up about it. And yes, they did vote. our local LWV worked with OC Votes to register/update 1550 students. 1700+ were registered to vote and 82% voted!
