Did you know that hares can legally be shot in the breeding season in England and Wales, leaving young leverets to starve to death? It's estimated we've lost 80% of the brown hare population. Scotland already has a close season. Please sign the petition: petition.parliament.uk/petitions/72...

Science break.
This kayaker gets approached by an otter every time he visits a lake. The otter was orphaned after the mother was in an accident, and the man helped it throughout it's rehabilitation process to later release it back into the wild. Volume up.🔊

Just tried to deactivate my X account, seems it doesn’t want to play nicely this evening! Quelle surprise! I’m finished with it and the evil M***k. Here’s tonight’s sunset in County Durham, a lovely sight to gladden the heart.

I know Heather burning is still legal, but is it really necessary when Heather can be mowed to obtain the same result? Pics from about 9.30 am, the pollution was much worse at 4.00 pm - no wind to disperse the smoke.

My first experience of tapestry weaving @The Wiggly Path Company (don’t think they are on here yet). Anyway, a great day and highly recommended - interested? Try a search. P.S. It’s a moorland landscape at sunset with mistakes!

Learned Tapestry Weaving at The Wiggly Path Company on Saturday - not perfect but hugely enjoyable. (It’s a sunset in a moorland landscape)
