It’s very exposed from Waskerley Station to Stanhope (no shade) and the cafe at the end of the old railway line isn’t always open - be prepared! Great views though and lots of old Darlington and Stockton railway markers.

Wow, that’s quite a distance. Lots of steel and railway heritage from Consett to Stanhope - but I guess you already know that! Hope you have good weather.
